i think this is both Sn1 and E1, so you get two products: 2-methyl-2-butanol and 2-methyl-2-butene. is this right? is one major and the other minor? which one is which? please help...thanks!

actually, since CH3OH dissociates into CH3O- and H+, wouldnt you get Sn1 where the CH3O- attaches to where the chlorine was instead of getting an OH there?
