You will learn to use a range of modern sound recording equipment and systems, including music production using Pro Tools and Ableton Live, MIDI sequencing, microphone techniques, mixing-desk architecture, sound processing, synthesis, sampling, software instruments, plugin development, music technology compositional techniques, live sound and acoustics. You will study all aspects of the music industry, including copyright, collecting agencies, record labels, distributors and publishers. In addition you will combine creativity and expertise in production, sound recording, music technology and composition.
